I'm Amr, a Software Engineer from Egypt. I'm naturally curious, practical, ambitious, and probably a little impatient.

When something catches my attention, I usually want to understand what's happening underneath instead of stopping at the first working answer. I don't like black boxes, and if something works but I don't understand why, I'll probably keep digging until it makes sense.

I like learning things I can actually use, building real projects, and seeing real progress. I prefer simple ideas and clear solutions over making things complicated just to look clever.

I also enjoy taking ownership of things. Starting with an idea or a problem, figuring things out along the way, and eventually being able to point at something and say: I built that.

I don't expect myself to know everything. I'm much more interested in becoming someone who can figure things out and keep getting better over time.

Outside coding

You will usually find me:

• Going to the gym.
• Playing chess.
• Practicing touch typing.
• Solving problems just for the fun of figuring them out.
• Working on personal projects and ideas.
• Contributing to open source when I find something interesting.
